Server entry

Verification uses an image CAPTCHA inside Discord. The exchange bot grants Verified after a correct answer. No OAuth account authorization is required. Challenges expire after three minutes, allow three guesses and are bound to your member ID. Only hashed answers are stored temporarily. A notification record prevents repeat backup DMs.

Optional member backup

After verification, the bot sends one optional backup invitation. Skipping it, closing DMs or deleting a backup does not affect server access or exchanges. When you explicitly choose backup, Discord grants identify and guilds.join. This lets the app identify you and add your account to a replacement BABA server owned by the configured community owners. A restoration requires an owner to review and confirm the destination. Backup authorization does not grant the Verified role.

What is stored

Your Discord ID, username, consent time and encrypted OAuth access/refresh credentials when you opt in. Tokens are encrypted at rest. Owner access and restore outcomes are recorded. This service does not collect account passwords or payment data.

Your controls

Use “Delete my backup” on the home page or revoke the app in Discord’s Authorized Apps settings. Your existing Verified role stays in place.

Recovery limits

Only members who authorize this app can be restored. Revoked access, bans, membership limits and screening can prevent restoration. Accounts that left the original server are skipped and removed from backup while that server still exists.
